Camera Eos

How do I adjust the shutter speed on Canon Eos Rebel Camera?
I want to do a picture with a long exposure time, like 5 seconds or so. However, I can't find out how to manually adjust the shutter speed on the Digital Camera.
You need to put you camera into one of the creative modes -- "Tv" is the mode that controls the shutter speed. Try putting it in that and then seeing if you can adjust the speed with the little dial behind the Shutter Button on the top of the camera. If that doesn't work then you probably need to put it in manual mode which is represented by the letter "M" on the dial at the top of the camera. Then see if you can adjust it there.
Check out this link, it'll give you information about each of the modes:

The manual that came with your camera can help a lot too, probably. So just look in there under the "Tv" or "Manual" modes to see if it gives you better instructions.
Hope that helps! Good luck!
