Camera Grip

Difference between XTi and XSi and is buying a Battery Grip necessary?
So i'm having difficulty choosing which camera would be better the Rebel Xsi or the Rebel Xti, the only differences i've actually found is that the XTi is cheaper.
is this a good choice? or should I just spend the extra dollars for the XSi?
oh and, it gives me the option to buy a battery grip.
Is that necessary? or could I do without it?
thanks.
Personally, I'd just get the XTi. The improvements that the XSi brings aren't really improvements at all and aren't worth the extra money in my mind.
As for the battery grip, it's certainly not necessary. It can be nice if you're going to be shooting over the course of a whole day, or if you like your camera to be bulkier. However, it's definitely not needed.
