Cover Door
I have vertical blinds that cover our sliding door, how can i cover them up, or make them trendy.?
I live in an apartment and I cannot take them down. They are so ugly and a huge eye sore. I can't paint them, or put fabric on them. I was thinking about curtains, but i dont know how to even begin with that. Plus it has thats huge top where the track is, so i dont know how to cover that either.

I noticed on my vertical blinds that the individual "slats" detach, leaving just the little clips. So you can get rid of the worst part that way. Just make sure you have the kind where you can put them back!
I have these in my kitchen, and what I did was hand a road 4" above the track, with extenders to make it stick out more. Or you would put curtains on either side of the blinds, and put up a cornice to hide the rod. A cool valence would also work.
