How long does the extended Li ion battery work??

I want to buy an extended Li ion Battery For my HP Pavilion dv2000 Notebook and there are many items displayed with highly variable prices and I want to know how I can recognize the best and how I can know that it is gonna work longer

Look at the cell count. It should tell you right there. 6 is the lowest, 12 is the highest -- that I know of. I have a 6 cell in mine, and it lasts about 1-2 hours of just typing...
