Elementary school Career Day presentation: Suggestions on how I can make accounting sound fun to kids?

In particular, I do international tax, but an overview of accounting would also be fine. Anything to keep them (groups of about 30 kids) engaged, especially ideas on how to get and keep them involved and not bored to tears. What is fun to kids about accounting/auditing/tax?

I teach elementary students K-5 and I also have a 1st and 3rd grader at home. One thing I have learned is that they love $$, paper $$ that is. My oldest gets bucks from her teacher when she makes good choices and then at the end of the 9 weeks they have a garage sale. Students can make stuff to sell or bring stuff in. They love it and learn about managing $$ along with simple adding and subtracting. I hope this helps. Any kind of activity where they can win paper money or when I was at an in-service the lady asked questions and when a person got it right, she threw them a 100 grand candy bar. You could incorporate geography easily into the mix too. Just some brainstorming. LN
