Human vision is a lot more complicated than a digital camera. It's not really a fair comparison to compare "pixels" (rods and cones) because in our eyes the "pixels" (rods and cones) are not spread out evenly. The cones are concentrated near the center for high resolution (acuity) and and optimized away from the center for motion sensing. We have 4.5 million cone cells, so you could argue that our color vision is only 4.5 megapixels! Then again, we have 90 million rod cells, but you don't think you can see 90 megapixels at night, do you? Like I said, it's complicated.
