Only Used

Is it possible to make your body get used to only 3-4 hrs sleep a day?
I've tons to do, cos I'm rushing a project now, which I foresee might take up to a few weeks. I was wondering whether if it is possible to hone my body to get used to about 3-4 hrs sleep a day. Something like if I only sleep 3-4 hrs a day everyday, my body will eventually adjust and 'think' that 3-4 hrs is ok and then I won't feel tired even though I have so little sleep.
Also, any tips/hints for staying awake? Coffee doesn't work for me.
It is not unsual for people to "condition" their bodies in such a fashion, However; I really can't say that I know many people who have done it on purpose. I'm almost positive that your doctor or any doctor will tell you that it is pobably not the healthiest thing you can do. Most will recommend that you get anywhere from 6-8 hours a day, but this is not always possible. The only people I know who regularly "survive" on 4 hour hours of sleep a day are people who are similar to me, and for one reason or another have been put in a situation where your really only allowed 4-5 hours of sleep a night. A word of caution from personal experiance, it's easier to get there then it is to get back, I wake up every four hours wether I'm still tired or not, most often I wake up look around the room then go back to sleep when I am still tired.... Yes you can do it, but I would not recommend it.
