Is there a difference between memory stick duo and memory stick pro duo?

I have a sony ericsson walkman/camera phone (not sure of exact model) but it has a 128mb memory stuck duo card, and I was wondering if memory stick pro duo was pretty much the same thing? Will the ms pro duo work on my phone?

The only difference that I know of is "duo" cards larger than 128MB are called "pro duo".
I don't know if your phone can handle duo cards larger than 128MB but if I had to guess I would guess that it can.
